NorthBridge Automotive GmbH i.G. is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we process when you visit northbridge-automotive.com, for what purposes, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The company is currently in the process of incorporation and is pending registration in the German commercial register (Handelsregister).

2. What we collect and why

a) Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we process the data you enter, including your name, company, work email address and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you and, where applicable, prepare or perform a business relationship. Providing the information is voluntary, but we may not be able to respond without the information required to process your inquiry.

The contact form is technically processed by our service provider FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards the submitted message to our business email address.

b) Server log files

When you visit the website, technical information may be processed automatically by the hosting provider, including IP address, browser type, referrer URL, date and time of access and information required to deliver and secure the website. We use this information for the secure and reliable operation of the website, troubleshooting and prevention of misuse. We do not use server log data to create personal marketing profiles.

c) Optional analytics (consent only)

With your consent, given through the cookie/consent banner, we may use Google Analytics provided by Google Ireland Limited to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and performance. Analytics is activated only after the required consent has been given. If you decline analytics, the analytics tag is not loaded.

We retain contact inquiries only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and any resulting business relationship. Where statutory retention obligations apply, relevant records may be retained for the legally required period. Server log data is retained only for as long as necessary for secure operation and troubleshooting. Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured in the Google Analytics account.

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to such processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for our registered office is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Hessischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

6. Third parties and international data transfers

FormSubmit: FormSubmit (Form Submit Apps LLC, USA) processes contact-form submissions on our behalf. Because this service provider is located in the USA, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the USA. Such transfers are carried out only where an applicable legal transfer mechanism under Chapter V GDPR is available, including an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, where applicable. Google Analytics: Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics. Google states that it acts as a processor for Analytics data processed on behalf of its customers. Depending on the configuration and processing involved, data may also be processed outside the EEA. Google provides contractual and transfer mechanisms for international transfers, including applicable adequacy mechanisms and standard contractual clauses. Analytics is used on this website only after the required consent has been obtained.

Hosting: The website is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes technical data required to provide and secure the website, including server log data. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.

7. Cookies and consent

Technically necessary cookies or similar technologies may be used where required for the operation and security of the website. Non-essential analytics technologies are activated only after the required consent has been given. You can refuse optional analytics through the consent banner. Where the consent mechanism provides a settings or withdrawal function, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

We may update this Privacy Notice where the website, our services or applicable legal requirements change. The current version published on this page applies.
